Clients used to arrive with magazine clippings, then Pinterest boards. Now they arrive with renders they’ve made themselves, excited to show you exactly what they want. You can see the appeal. You can also see the work ahead. The image says nothing about the awkward floor plan, the materials, the budget or the hundreds of decisions needed to bring it to life. Yet the more finished it looks, the more you find yourself explaining how much design work is still to come.
You can see the possibilities, but you can also see the questions. Whether the layout works in their actual space. Which products will achieve the feeling they love. What it will cost, and which parts matter most when the budget cannot stretch to everything.
You have access to these tools too. You can explore an idea further, test another direction and help a client see what you mean before committing hours to developing it.
It also raises a harder question: as more work gets faster, how does your studio turn that into a better business?
Programa connects the work around those decisions, from the first selections through to delivery. That means less time moving information, chasing answers and putting the pieces back together, and more freedom in how you design, what you take on and how you earn.

More possibilities, more decisions
AI is changing how ideas are developed and visualized, how products are found and compared, and how work gets done across software. It will keep improving. The services studios offer, and what clients expect to pay for them, will change with it.
In that meeting, you ask why the client loves the image. It turns out what matters is the warmth of the room, or the way people can gather in it. You notice the layout closes off the view they bought the house for. You find another approach that keeps what they love and works for the space and budget.
That work continues long after the concept is agreed. You guide decisions, manage trade-offs, coordinate suppliers and trades, and resolve the problems that appear on site. A late delivery can undo a carefully planned installation. A substitution can change the feel of the room. Keeping those details right is part of delivering the design.
AI can help with more of this work too. The opportunity is to give your studio more capacity to deliver a good result, while keeping you in control of the decisions and commitments made on your client’s behalf.
The hours you save need to count
Faster work does not automatically make a healthier business. If you bill by the hour, fewer hours can mean a smaller invoice. If you work to a fixed fee, extra revisions can consume the saving.
A studio needs to be paid for the work of getting a project delivered, including the decisions, coordination and responsibility along the way.
For some studios, that may mean taking on more of the sourcing and purchasing. But a product margin is only worthwhile if the time spent quoting, ordering, chasing and resolving problems is worth the effort.
How you price your work, and how much of a project you manage, is your decision. Our job is to make that work easier to deliver, with a clearer view of the time, costs and income behind it.

All-new Schedules
You can already present selections, collect client approvals and request supplier quotes in Programa. The next wave of releases is coming soon, starting with all-new Schedules. It is our biggest rebuild yet. Specify a product once and keep its details connected as the project changes.
One chair can belong in five rooms, with a different quantity in each. Update its finish once and the live views using that product reflect the change. Your client’s room-by-room view, the builder’s trade schedule and your supplier list can come from the same products, without maintaining separate copies.
Approval, procurement and payment stay separate, so an approved chair can also be in transit and awaiting payment.
Product history shows recorded changes and who made them. Revision notes let you explain why. An exported Issue keeps the exact PDF as a fixed record, even as the live project moves on.
The answer to what changed should not depend on finding the person who remembers.
The new SketchUp connection brings Schedules into the modeling workflow. Products, quantities and details move between the model and the specification, with changes you review and apply.
Carrying the decisions through
Quoting is live. You can request quotes from your Schedule, have suppliers respond against the products you selected, and review their prices and proposed updates before accepting them. Suppliers do not need a Programa account to reply. Once you have confirmed the details, you can create a purchase order.
That gives both sides a better starting point. The supplier has the details needed to answer properly. Your team has the response alongside the product, instead of another PDF to retype.
Supplier invoicing and delivery tracking extend that connection. New finance and client tools give you a clearer view of what has been agreed, what needs paying and what your studio is earning from the project.

Put Pulse to work
Pulse is the place in Programa to see what needs attention across your studio and put AI to work on it. It brings your projects, priorities and recurring jobs together, using the information your team already works with.
In our AI survey, studios asked for help with the work that fills so much of the week: chasing deliveries, entering supplier details, checking schedules, comparing quotes and keeping clients informed. These are the jobs that shape the next version of Pulse.
You can ask Pulse to do a job when you need it, or set it to run regularly. Start the week with a clear view of orders that need attention, outstanding tasks, reminders and decisions waiting on someone. See where to step in across the studio, without opening every project and asking everyone for an update.
Before a client meeting, Pulse prepares a brief from the latest selections, approvals and delivery updates. At the end of the week, it drafts a client update from the project’s progress.
With the new email connections, Pulse turns supplier replies into proposed project updates. A changed delivery date arrives alongside the relevant product for you to check and approve, saving your team from finding and entering it again.
From there, Programa’s AI will take on more of the checking and buying work. That includes flagging a missing dimension or finish, or a difference between a supplier’s quote and your specification, before it becomes an expensive mistake. It will compare quotes, help price a schedule and find better prices or available alternatives that fit the brief, budget and delivery dates.
The cheapest option is only useful if it works for the project.
Seeing the price, availability and fit together helps you make a better buying decision, and see where your studio can earn a worthwhile margin.
You can check the information behind the work. Changes and outgoing messages come to you for approval. Your team stays in control, with less time spent chasing details and more attention for the decisions that need you.
Your tools, connected to the project
A supplier’s reply in your inbox can change what happens on site. Keeping that information connected to the project saves your team from moving it by hand.
Gmail and Microsoft 365 integrations will bring supplier replies into Programa. Shopify connects supplier catalogs and orders. 3D Cloud brings in product information and 3D assets. Alongside SketchUp, these connections carry more of the information you need between the tools you already use.
You will also be able to work with Programa through Claude and ChatGPT, starting with the project information you choose to share. Which products still need approval? What remains unordered? What did we specify for the bathrooms on our last three projects?
Ask directly, without assembling an export and explaining it again. Check the answers against the project, with your studio controlling what an assistant can access and do.

The time is yours
You should be able to build a successful studio without spending so much of your life keeping its information together.
Your creativity deserves your best hours.
You might use those hours to take on another project, spend longer on the details of the one you have, or finish the day without carrying the admin into your evening.
Freedom, by Design.
