15 projects. One system. Nothing missed.
Hommeboys Interiors

About the practice
Hommeboys Interiors is an award-winning design studio founded by Alex Mutter-Rottmayer and Austin Carrier. They integrate architecture, interior design, and custom furniture through their in-house millwork atelier, Haus of Hommeboys. The studio manages approximately 15 active luxury residential and hospitality projects simultaneously.

The issue
Spreadsheets across multiple computers
Hommeboys previously managed projects through spreadsheets scattered across multiple computers and online resources, making updates complicated and messy. They lacked centralized access for on-site meetings, struggled with client communication requiring constant status updates, and had no unified system for their complex procurement and custom millwork tracking.

The fix
Categorized schedules with real-time approvals
The studio now runs all operations through Programa: categorized schedules for lighting, furniture, plumbing, and finishes; real-time client approvals and comments; procurement tracking from order to delivery; budget management with upfront estimates; and the "hidden" feature for internal design development. Their branded client dashboard provides 24/7 project visibility while time tracking ensures accurate billing across multiple team members.

The result
15 concurrent projects, zero lost details
Hommeboys can now access everything from anywhere without needing Dropbox or specific computers—crucial for on-site meetings. Clients self-serve project updates through their dashboard, dramatically reducing inquiry emails. The team jumps between 15 projects without missing details. As Director of Creative Operations Kaila Niles puts it: "You use Programa so you don't lose your mind."
